Visit Ramsey County
Visitors of Ramsey County have plenty to see and do. Downtown Saint Paul is home to the Minnesota Children’s Museum, Minnesota History Center and the Science Museum of Minnesota. You can also explore weekly farmers markets, tour the State Capitol building, enjoy walking and biking trails along the Mississippi River, and many more activities.
If shopping is your thing, you can browse the stores along Saint Paul’s trendy Grand Avenue, in Roseville’s Rosedale Shopping Center, or in quaint downtown White Bear Lake.
The food scene in the Twin Cities has exploded over the past several years with many award-winning restaurants opening. Craft breweries and distilleries continue to pop up, adding to the food and drink scene.
If you visit in the summertime, you will find festivals and events throughout the county. If you're lucky enough to find yourself in the area during the last week in August up until Labor Day, make your way over to the Minnesota State Fair in Falcon Heights. It is the second largest state fair in the United States and an experience unlike any other.
In the wintertime, visitors can try their hand at ice fishing, pond hockey, curling and skiing. The Saint Paul Winter Carnival also offers several free events to celebrate the season.
There is something for everyone to enjoy in the Twin Cities and Ramsey County.
